BIRTHDAY FUN
i definately think we should focus on the birthday aspect of the expansion of coco tang. everything seems to relate to it at the moment!

69 magazine kept mentioning their own birthday in the last issue of their magazine and they are a significant contact for Tang in terms of promotion around the east midlands - lets make them want to promote us!
Also - London Fashion week had its 25th anniversary this year which was highly significant and the Clothes Show Live is turning 21!!

Mary Kate

Rich gold mirrors, big classy dresses

I love the crown and the red hair. Perf.

This one is like the before shot for the Rodarte shoot which I adored. She looks so sweet and innocent.

Amazing dress, rough background fits Coco Tang to the tee.

This ones more of a circus theme but still adorable. Over exaggerated dresses are what we want.

Masquerade balls portray the wealthy, classy, sophisticated. Spot on M-K.
Okay so yes we LOVE Mary-Kate. These images are perfect and fit the elegant, sophisticated fantasy world that we want to be incorporate into our theme.

Yes, I do heart it.
French Vogue

I came across these on Rag Pony. It fits the theme of the fairy tale in a totally a different way. This is more like "The Simple Life" with Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton. I love it though and still think its appropriate for Coco Tangs themed Fashion show as its the harsher realities of whats within this fantasy land.

Alice in Wonderland

We've all seen Ashleys mickey mouse ears, Luellas big bows... but here we have it. Chairs as head pieces. I love it. It relates perfectly to the world of Alice on Wonderland where she steps into this world where she becomes a giant. Tiny tables, chairs, beds.. why oh why did Alice never think of turning the furniture into a Fashion Statement.
I would love to see models in our catwalk with chairs on their head or tiny chairs in boutique.

One step too far

With our boutique we want to go much further than the child like image of a fairy tale land. This images from Rodarte S/S 2010 just created the image in my head which I never knew was actually possible. These images are breath taking. I adore Rodarte. ADORE. And he just went up my rating even more after this catwalk show. Its got the dark, gloomy, mysterious and scary theme that we want to bring into our fairy tale land.
Its as if this sweet innocent child went into her fairytale land through her wardrobe and like many when you are in awe or something you just don't know when to stop. In doing this the little girl came face to face with a harsher reality of what the world really does entail.
I like the mix from the cute fairytale land with the mix of an adults view of the fairytale land where everything is not as pink and fluffy as it first appears.
Lost in the woods

Its funny- it was only this morning that I was walking down to the library and whilst thinking I should really be in a bad mood- its early, its dark and its cold! But weirdly I was in a good mood, there is something mysterious almost magical to me about Autumn. The fallen leaves which children kick along the road, the colour scheme, the dew on the grass, the excuse not to leave the house but to watch yet another episode of Gossip Girl.
And then I see this on Coco's Tea Party- This shoot was from 2007 by Alex White the Fashion editor of W magazine. It summarises to me why I do in fact love Autumn. Its cute and makes me reminisce on the days when it was actually me throwing the leaves up above my head and giggling with friends.
Aside from my life story- these images fit the fairy tale feel that we want to en corporate into our boutique at Coco Tang.
Glamour

We want our boutique to ooze glamour- the sheer sophistication of real fashion. These images are taken from Vogue Italia, Craig McDean. This images is perfect for Coco Tang as it nails disheveled, eccentric glamour.
There is so much rich, fabulous, exaggerated glamour its perfect for what we have in mind.

Tang could potentially have their own range of boutique merchandise within the store in order to establish itself as a fashion brand more strongly. e.g. jewellery based on the new VIP section launch incorporating jewellery instead of a pass.
Just another day at The Ritz

The boutique that we have in mind is quirky and quaint. These images of Anna Dello Russo ~(the fashion editor of Vogue, Nippon) at the Ritz express sheer beauty. Everyone knows that The Ritz is a place for grace, elegance and glamour- Coco Tang will be coherent in this theme. I love the vintage vibe with the gold, dark underlying feeling.

This boutique has a fairytale/wonderland visage around it and an established brand personality. This should be similar to the image that we aim to produce for Coco but have the usp of being a bar as well.
State of Grace

I love how undressed and understated these images are. They fit the image of Coco Tang perfectly with the damanged walls and unfinished look yet they define fashion- Natalia looks immaculate, elegant and sophisticated each image is bigger and better than the last. The shoot is simply breathe taking and this is something that we would like to bring back to our boutque for Coco Tang.
