An incredible film, I love Brendan Fraser at the best of this time but he truely excelled in Ink Heart.
Another film based around fantasy and magic that I am looking at for my course.
This really was astonishing. When Mo Folchart (Brendan Fraser) reads out loud from books the characters become real and change worlds. But when Mo's wife gets taken into Ink Heart they go on a quest to find her and through the magic of his voice get her back and put everyone else back within their stories.
The film is gripping, as you literally sit staring at the television as things get dark and gloomy you can only hope that between them Mo and his daughter Maggie can save everyone.
The film is entertaining but I love the mix of fiction and fantasy. As it stands I am not sure how this could be incorporated into my own fairytale yet I am more than excited to work out a way to entice all the ideas to create my own magic.
